Challenge Trophy
In the spirit of being one big family of Rotarians working towards serving our community, this year, for the first time, the Gingerbread House Extravaganza introduces The Rotary ClubHOUSE Charity Challenge Trophy. This unique collaborative effort among District 6970 Rotary Clubs in Northeast Florida unites our fellow Rotarians in a little friendly competition to benefit a charity of each Club’s choice!
The Rotary International award winning Gingerbread House Extravaganza invited District Clubs to submit a house to the ClubHOUSE Challenge for a small charitable contribution of $100. The winning Rotary Club that claims best-in-show among other Rotary Club entries, will win back their $100 entry fee and the total of all $100 fees submitted by other Rotary Clubs in the challenge, PLUS the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville’s $500 sponsorship prize money which includes a handsome Rotary ClubHOUSE Charity Challenge Trophy! The winning Rotary Club keeps the Trophy for one year, returning it for next year’s new challenge.
If the same Rotary Club wins the trophy three times in a row, it’s theirs to keep and a new Trophy will be
commissioned!
All monetary winnings from this Challenge are for distribution to a charity of each participating Club’s choice!
